As an Honors project, I am trying to understand the Health care bill, present it in laymens terms & explain how it affects U.S. citizens. I have been asked to seek out congressmen(women), members of the iron triangle, etc. to interview and get their position on the bill and why. I appreciate the time you have taken with this blog & as I read through it, I am learning more and more. If you have any tips or pointers, since I am feelig completely over whelmed, please let me know.

The thing I’m curious about about the Obama plan is this segment about pre-existing conditions… Is there any stuff in the bill about wether or not there is a limit on what insurance plans can require if you have a pre-existing problem?

Health reform has been reduced to a dream, like the electric car, or baseball without steriods. It is doubtful we will see any reform in the next few years, and yet health care costs will continue to make access to health insurance more exclusive to the rich.
